Aging & Elderly
FEI Systems developed Carity specifically to manage Medicaid 1915 (c) waivers, rebalancing programs, and State plan amendments serving individuals who are elderly, physically disabled, have intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), experience traumatic brain injury/spinal cord injury (TBI/SCI), and other home care programs. Carity provides population-specific clinical assessment tools that help determine clinical and functional eligibility for waivers and State-plan programs. Carity uses the interRAI Home Care (interRAI HC) assessment to assess the elderly and physically disabled populations, while using the Inventory for Client and Agency Planning (ICAP) for the ID/DD population.
Carity interfaces with external sites to import assessments such as the Supports Intensity Scale (SIS). Information from the imported assessment is used to make level of care determinations. Carity offers users the flexibility to determine the appropriate assessment tool to use based on the specific conditions of the individual. Carity is proven, stable, scalable, and is highly configurable to meet diverse Medicaid programs and needs related to aging and elderly populations.
