Maryland selects FEi Systems to provide an integrated LTSS systemNitesh Chawathe
FEi Systems has been awarded the LTSS System Software Development & Business Process Support Task Order under the Maryland Consulting and Technical Services+ (CATS+) contract. The Task Order, which provides continued support and enhancement to Maryland’s comprehensive LTSS system, is comprised of a 3-year base period and two option years. FEi has been working with Maryland since 2012 when the State embarked on a transformation of its LTSS system. Maryland saw the need for flexible, responsive technology to manage large volumes of data related to LTSS participant activity and comply with evolving Federal requirements for quality monitoring and assurance. Maryland’s LTSS system supports a wide variety of programs offered through the Affordable Care Act (ACA), such as the Money Follows the Person Demonstration, the Balancing Incentive Program, and the Community First Choice State Plan option.
The Task Order, awarded in September 2014, will allow FEi to continue its support of Maryland through flexible, cost-effective LTSS solutions to the citizens of Maryland. MBE firms Oakland Consulting Group and GRPA Inc will participate on FEi’s delivery team.
