Fran Jensen, MD, MS serves as the Chief Medical Officer at FEI. She previously served as a Medical Officer in the United States Public Health Services (USPHS). Dr. Jensen brings FEI 10 years of experience as a Medical Officer at the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). She is a licensed and board-certified physician leader and innovator. Dr. Jensen has extensive experience developing and implementing models to transform the healthcare delivery system in Federal and State government. She brings a passion to use data to drive improvement in Medicare and Medicaid policies and operations. Dr. Jensen was recently the Deputy Director and Medical Officer, State Innovations Group, Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), at CMS. Previously, she was the Medical Officer of the Learning and Diffusion Group at CMMI/CMS, as well as Medical Officer of the CMS Division of Acute Care Services. She also served as Clinical Faculty and Fellow at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and as a Primary Care Physician with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians.
