Mr. Bhatt is the Chief Technology Officer at FEi Systems and is responsible for technology solutions and policies across the company’s multiple lines of business and helps to enhance consistency and timeliness for solution delivery.
Mr. Bhatt has more than 20 years of professional experience with large-scale health IT systems and solutions for government-related behavioral health and long-term support services. He has extensive experience with such technical solutions as web application development, data warehousing, business intelligence, and data analytics. He brings deep knowledge to analysis, technical assistance, and health IT system design for federal government, states, and counties. He is expert in the development and review of health IT standards and is an active member of Health Level 7 (HL7). He is an expert in healthcare interoperability content standards such as CCD/C32, CDA, C-CDA, FHIR, as well as standardized terminology such as SNOMED-CT, LOINC, and RxNorm. Mr. Bhatt has experience in many industry verticals including federal and state government, healthcare, finance, and insurance.
Previously, Mr. Bhatt served as the Project Director on all of FEi’s Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) projects. He served as the Project Director or Technical Director on several SAMHSA contracts. For the SAMHSA Behavioral Health Information Technology and Standards (BHITS) project, Mr. Bhatt is extensively involved with developing standards for the collection, exchange, and analysis of behavioral health data, and developing electronic clinical quality measures.
Mr. Bhatt earned a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems and Finance from the University of Maryland. Previously, he earned a Master of Technology in Electrical and Control Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University.
